Embraer and Boeing Receive Brazilian Government Approval of Strategic Partnership
Boeing will hold an 80 percent ownership stake in the new company and Embraer will hold the remaining 20 percent.
The companies have also agreed to terms for another joint venture to promote and develop new markets for the multi-mission medium airlift KC-390 – Embraer will own 51% of this partnership.

General Dynamics NASSCO Commissions New Panel Line
General Dynamics NASSCO held a ceremony to commission its new panel line, which expands steel production capabilities for the construction of commercial and government ships in San Diego.
The new panel line enables distortion-free welding of plates as thin as five millimeters to produce lighter, more energy efficient ships.

Iridium Completes Satellite Launch Campaign
On 01/11/2019, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base and delivered the final 10 Iridium® NEXT satellites to low earth orbit (LEO). All 10 satellites have successfully communicated with the Iridium Satellite Network Operations Center and are preparing to undergo initial on-orbit testing. This was the eighth and final launch for Iridium’s historic launch campaign with SpaceX, with a total of 75 new satellites deployed over less than two years.

U.S. Air Force Accepts First Boeing KC-46A Pegasus Tanker Aircraft
The U.S. Air Force has accepted the first Boeing KC-46A Pegasus tanker aircraft, setting the stage for the aircraft’s delivery to McConnell Air Force Base in the coming weeks.
During extensive flight testing, six KC-46 completed more than 3,800 flight hours and offloaded more than four million pounds of fuel to A-10, B-52, C-17, KC-10, KC-135, KC-46, F-15E, F-16 and F/A-18 aircraft.

Delta Air Lines Contracts With C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership for 15 Airbus A220-300 Aircraft
Delta Air Lines awarded C Series Aircraft Limited Partnership (CSALP) an order for 15 A220-300 model aircraft.
The value of the order is $1.37 billion at list prices. Delta also converted earlier A220 orders to the larger -300, bringing to 50 the number of A220-300s on order.
